The world is in the midst of a stupendous crisis amid the rise of the Corona virus pandemic. With its Genesis linked to the illegal wildlife market in central city of Wuhan in China, last year,the virus that has now been named Covid-19, has walked through a tight spot, killing thousands in mainland China and several others outside China

.Although scientists have concluded that covid-19 is not a death sentence, tension is escalating worldwide because no one has recovered from the virus so far. In fact the virus threw scientists into drawing board when a woman 41,who was infected earlier on,got treatment and discharged by doctors believing that she had recovered only to test positive a week later. The world countries where Africa lies,stands at the threshold of atrophy and even possible death due to poor medical facilities. Measures such as grounding flights to and fro worst affected countries are good but much needs to be done.  The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended one to wash his hands often with soap,cover their mouth and nose when sneezing, avoid touching their eyes,miss and mouth if hands are not clean,avoid any contact with anyone who is sick among other recommendations. The Corona virus outbreak has badly hit the economy of the world and affected sporting activities globally. Thanks to the US government that has offered 2.7 billion dollars to help in research and curbing the crisis.
