VANITY OF VANITIES
"WE NEVER KNEW IT WAS KEN WALIBORA"
"The CEO spoke during a virtual meeting with Senate Committee on Health chaired by Trans Nzoia Senator Michael Mbito.
The committee had summoned KNH management to shed light on claims that Walibora lay waiting for help for 14 hours at the facility." The star.
Will much be done following the response given by the Kenyatta National Hospital when it came out that the late Ken Walibora was left unattended to for 14 hours in Kenyatta National Hospital, then those in charge in there hospital responded that " we never knew it was Ken Walibora " ???πthis went viral in social media.
A lot of questions rise in the minds of the common 'mwananchi' . Do only those that can make it to news headlines deserve care and special treatment? Is there any need to have the Kenyan Constitution ? Do the Constitution protect its' citizens? Do we have a right to life , medical care π€·? What's the role of the government to it's citizens?Where should the poor discriminated Kenyan's put there trust in?
Well, perhaps we've trusted the wrong people,Psalms 62 :8,9
8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
9 Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
The assurance we have is that this world is not our final home, there is a new home for those who have put their trust in God. The new earth where Jesus will be our King, a king who never discriminates, where all people will be equally treated , a world free from pain and these sufferings . Christ only calls us to trust in him alone and not trusting a sinful man or his creation , and not the big hospitals, and not the Constitution , he will heal us , he will comfort usπ. The most important of all is that he will take us home, the sweet home we long for .π€π
Be strong and of good courage, fear not ,nor be afraid of them ' the challenges you are facing, the discriminations, the sad happenings the poor ones passes through,' he will not fail thee , neither forsake thee, fear not, neither be dismayed,=Deuteronomy 31:6 . Just trust in him alone and thou shall have peace as we hope and wait for new world to come, free from all soughts of sin, with Christ our eternal Kingπ, for all done under the sun are but vanity.π©

ReplyDeleteIt was painful seeing Ken's life end in incognito, nobody expected this to happen as we still relied on him so much as a nation. However, the claims by the medics that they didn't know it was Ken Walibora, depicts a lot,is it that the hospitals are meant for people who are just but renowned??? Despite losing Ken it's a lesson to our doctors that they should treat each citizen equally,If they did this ,they could have fortunately saved the icon's life.....
ReplyDeleteNice coverage
Thanks dear ,I love your comment π
DeleteAmen
ReplyDeleteDid they really have to know it was him for them to treat him? Wasn't he human like any other being? I just can't imagine the painful death my teacher died! The agony that he felt on that helpless hospital bed! It all seems like a story to me. But all in all am glad that he responded to the calling of His Father. The one and only who is his refuge and am glad that he is now in a better place and that we shall meet again. Kwangu haikuwa buriani ila kwaheri ya kuonana. Tuonane bandarini kule.
ReplyDeleteAminaaaπ it is our hope that we'll meet again.
DeleteIt's awesome writing.... Our trust is above in the sky

DeleteIt is so sad that such statements came from our health workers of whom we expect to attend to each and every patient. Impunity is the only thing driving some, do you need to know me so as you can do your job? The Lord our God is the only refuge for we only trust in HIM who never fails.
ReplyDeleteAmen and amen
DeleteA very sad story,so it means if you are not a public figure you won't be given first priority in treatment,I'm wondering
ReplyDeleteSoon will go to a sweet home.
